POLICE are looking for anyone to help them track down the mother of a baby boy who was found abandoned at about 6.45pm on Thursday April 19.
He was found by members of the public in an apple orchard on the farm Damplaas in Misgund, Joubertina.
The baby is in the state hospital and is reported to be healthy and in a very satisfactory state.
Detectives from the Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Humansdorp are asking anyone who might be able to assist them with their investigation that could lead them to the boy's mother to contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer Jacobus Meyer on 071-352- 4859.
