CALLIES face a tough double-header when the Safa Nelson Mandela Bay (NMB) SAB League fixtures resume tomorrow.

The Londt Park outfit host log-leaders Real City at Londt Parktomorrow and Showvillage United at the NU2 Stadium on Sunday. City are unbeaten in 10 starts.

Callies will be playing their first match on home ground, which was being used by the cricket section of the club. Because of their late entry into the competition, Callies have played only five matches and are way down the log, but they are not unduly worried about their position.

"We have double-headers this week and the next and next. Maximum points will see us in the top three," optimistic Callies manager, Daryl Ausmeier said.

Bay Stars, who are in fifth place with two matches in hand, play Showvillage tomorrow and Hotspurs at the NMMU Missionvale campus on Sunday.

"The boys have been hard at training in the off-season and although our matches this weekend are not easy, we are confident that we will be among the front-runners by the time we finish our catch-up games," said Stars coach Graham Harrison.

Safa NMB SAB League fixtures:

Tomorrow: Lion City v Despatch Pioneers (NU2), SUBs v Camper United (NU2), Hotspurs v Tomorrow Stars (Mooredyke), Callies v Real City (Londt Park), Morning Stars v Royal Bucks (Zwide), Island City v Highland Spurs (Rosedale), Real Aces v Crystal Palace (NU9), Showvillage United v Bay Stars Academy.

Sunday: Showvillage United v Callies (NU2)

ZWIDE Celtics should continue from where they left off last year when the Zwifa Marina Sea Salt Premier League resumes tomorrow.

The early pace-setters who scored 12 goals in their last two matches play Golden Aces at the Zwide Stadium B Field.

Camper United, who trail Celtic on goal difference, face a tough match against Gal City on the C Field. The pick of tomorrow's matches should be the clash between Real Crusaders and Zwide Pirates. In their final fixture before the recess, Crusaders thumped Umanyano 7-0.

Tomorrow: Kuyasa v Young Killers, Manchester City v Soweto Angels, Little Birds v Umanyano, Real Crusaders v Zwide Pirates

Sunday: Camper United v Gal City, Golden Aces v Zwide Celtics, Major Chiefs v Strikers United, Morning Stars v Shining Stars
