THERE is a top line-up of musicians waiting to rock a onenight audience with Born To Be
Wild – Rock Legends at Old Grey in Port Elizabeth next week.
The show f eatures one of South Africa’s highest rated guitarists, Jethro Butow, who has flown in from Johannesburg to play with one of Port Elizabeth’s great musical sons, Donovan Hattingh.
It will be a one-night only evening celebrating the great guitar legends. They will be supported by Port Elizabeth stalwarts Francois Hugo, Deon and Kevin Mattheus and Lani Botha on guest vocals.
Butow is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest guitarists in South Africa.
He was also the official guitarist for the Idols band, has played for the likes of Luciano Pavarotti and the Three Tenors, performed in bands and with performers such as Kariba, Morocko, Steve Linnegar’s Snakeshed, Lesley Rae Dowling, Little Sister and John Ireland to name a few.
The show is at Old Grey next Friday January 11 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost R120. Book at Computicket.
