LIQUID Lounge co-owner Thando Manana and resident DJ Chris Mbori have promised the cocktail lounge will continue operating despite what they allege are attempts to shut down the new establishment.
Cleaners found a concoction, wrapped in newspaper, toilet paper and a plastic bag and believed to be muti, under one of the couches at the weekend.
Manana co-owns the popular hangout with his childhood friend, Proteas cricketer Lonwabo Tsotsobe.
"If the aim was to scare away our customers they won't succeed because we know what we are doing.
"In case someone forgot it there, our advice to our customers is that they should not leave behind their parcels."
Mbori said: "Our customers should not be worried. It means that we are doing the right thing and people should also remember that the dogs only bark at a moving car, not a stationary one." – Yoliswa Sobuwa
