SOUTH Africa spinner Robin Peterson expects New Zealand to "put up much more of a fight" when the teams meet in the second cricket test at Axxess St George's, starting on Friday (10.30am).
The Proteas wiped the floor with the Black Caps at Newlands in the New Year's test, winning by an innings and 27 runs. The Kiwis did display some backbone in the second innings of that match but it was their pathetic effort of 45 all out on the first day that put paid to any thoughts they may have harboured of an upset.
Many pundits are not expecting the second test to go much further than the weekend, but Peterson warned the Kiwis would be out to restore some pride.
