Another blow as top Bay official quits

DAYS after she was appointed acting chief operating officer (COO) of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, Ntombi Baart – one of the senior Bhisho officials sent to help turn around the municipality – quit her position.

This has left a gaping hole in the city's already ailing administration as there is no dedicated official heading municipal operations.

Municipal spokeswoman Marthie Nel, however, insisted that Baart was "still sitting in the COO's office", but was focused on preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) tournament.

As we can see the ANC is more worried about a soccer tournament than running the city

And so the circus continues - maybe we will be in luck and the entire cANCer administration will leave town when Brian Boswell leaves as well !!!!!
