I HOPE one of The Herald readers can help me. In the past I have made several donations of clothes, household goods, etc to various charities, only to discover that it appears that the staff/volunteers at some of these places have first pick.

Does anyone know of a charity or deserving organisation where these donations go to where they are supposed to go?
