ANGRY Eastern Province soccer boss Mzimkhulu Fina has lashed out at the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) local organising committee (LOC), saying not enough has been done to promote the showpiece event which kicks off in Port Elizabeth on January 20.
Fina’s stinging comments came on the day that Nelson Mandela Bay mayor Zanoxolo Wayile hosted an Afcon countdown press conference at the city hall yesterday to boost awareness about the tournament.
Afcon officials have admitted that ticket sales in Port Elizabeth have been sluggish and they are hoping sales pick up dramatically in the week leading up to the kickoff in the city.

Seems the people in Cape Town were correct in declining to be a host city for this afcon mess,we on the other hand have handed out 30 million rands to be a host city...go figure!
