Sunridge doubles event starts district calendar

THE first Port Elizabeth and District tennis event of the year takes place next weekend when Sunridge host their annual doubles tournament at PE Club.

The event will be held on Saturday, starting at 8am, and there will be three or four sections, depending on the entries. PE Club is being used to accommodate more players.

The event will provide some useful preparation for PE and D league players for the summer competition. Cost is R50 a player and competitors must enter by Tuesday with a partner. Inquiries: Ignis McLaren (082-5625873). – Neale Emslie
