South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first in the second and final Test against New Zealand at St George's Park, in Port Elizabeth, on Friday.
The hosts, who lead the series 1-0, made one forced change to the team which beat New Zealand in Cape Town, with seam bowler Rory Kleinveldt replacing the injured Vernon Philander.
The visitors made two changes -- Colin Munro replaces James Franklin, also suffering a hamstring injury, and Neil Wagner comes in for Chris Martin.
