Widow wins eviction battle

14 January 2013

THE widow of murdered Jeffreys Bay businessman Claus Schroeder has won an eviction battle in the Port Elizabeth High Court against a police officer who rented the farm where her husband was allegedly killed.

The court ordered that the farm be vacated within a month.

Schroeder, 50, went missing in August 2009 after he allegedly confronted Jens Leunberg and Kristina Adler over a fraudulent scheme involving his farm, Owvanhuk, in Thornhill.

At the time the couple lived on the farm and led him to believe they wanted to buy it and had enough money to do so.
