ONCE again I am appealing to the generous Port Elizabeth community to help with donations for my "project" school in New Brighton.
As the new academic year starts, most of the young children at this school have no new stationery. It is really hard for them and they are so keen and excited to be at school.
I would like to appeal to families to donate:
1) Any old or new stationery;
2) Any old or new toys, games, balls or sporting equipment;
3) Any old clothes;
4) Anyone who would like to spend an hour or two a week at the school reading or helping the children. They would love you to pop in to see their school. They appreciate any help and will gladly collect any donations. I look forward to a generous and positive response in 2013.
