BEING a colleague in the hospitality industry, I thought it appropriate that I write a note to you to tell your audience how lucky we are to have this fabulous new facility, the Boardwalk Hotel and Conference Centre, in Port Elizabeth

Our group, the Mantis Collection, was privileged to hold the first conference at the Boardwalk. We had 50 delegates from our offices worldwide, including South Africa, Zimbabwe and Nigeria.

During a break in our conference we were shown all the facilities, which, without doubt, our delegation confirmed were world class. We were also shown the musical water fountain attraction – what a display! Port Elizabeth can proudly say we now have hotels and conference facilities that can host both national and international conferences that are indeed world class. The benefit of hosting these events can surely only be an advantage to all of us in the hospitality industry
