Northville on a wave of confidence

TO THE uneducated, Northville's thrashing of Rotatrim PECC by 115 runs might suggest the biggest upset of the EP Super League cricket season.

Those who follow league cricket more closely will know this was the work of a Northville side riding a wave of confidence.

Northville, after losing their first three matches of the season and then sharing points in a rain-out, have now won six matches in a row.

The first five wins secured their spot in this half of the season's top 10 and they look to be a real threat for the remainder of the programme. On Saturday, Northville posted 199, with Riaan Kivido making an unbeaten 73.
