Old Grey demolish club opponents

MARITIME Motors Old Grey struck two telling blows to their Top 10 challengers in Eastern Province Super A League cricket action this weekend.

On Saturday, they hosted Despatch in a match reduced to 44 overs due to a wet pitch. Despatch could only manage 120, with Juan Harker and Simon McGilliwie taking two wickets apiece.

The Old Grey batting quickly drove the nails into the coffin.

They reached their target inside 20 overs for the loss of only one wicket, that of Brett Thompson for 21.
