HIGHBURY were defeated 2-1 by Angavu Stars in a Safa Eastern Cape Second Division League match at the Dumpy Adams Sports Ground at the weekend.
The Port Elizabeth side drew first blood when they scored early in the first half via striker Rowyne Ahgoo, but their celebrations were cut short when Stars equalised from the penalty spot before the break.
Both teams came back strongly in the second half in a bid to clinch the winner.
The Butterworth side were awarded a dubious second penalty which they converted to secure the three points.
