DOMESTIC violence victim Shireen Ballan, who previously asked the court to withdraw an assault complaint against former boyfriend Brent Cunningham, sang a different tune yesterday when she arrived at court with a new man on her arm.

Ballan, 36, has changed her mind and now wants Cunningham, 21, to be prosecuted.

She was admitted to hospital on December 27, after Cunningham allegedly savagely beat her in Morningside in a jealous rage.

The scars are still visible on the blonde beauty's face.

It also emergedin the packed Port Elizabeth Magistrate's Court that Cunningham allegedly telephoned her from a phone he smuggled into St Albans Prison, begging her to withdraw the complaint against him.
