Bafana can beat Mali

BAFANA Bafana will be playing Mali in the knockout stages of the African Cup of Nations on Saturday and have avoided the big guns, Ghana.

This is a very favourable draw for Bafana Bafana and their pedigree suggests they have the ability to beat Mali. However, they should be very careful of not underestimating Mali and must play all out attacking football so that they can score early and relax afterwards. We will also need to do some soul searching at the back as we lack communication and sometimes allow the opponents space to break through our defence.

We should also play the same winning combination that played against Angola and if we are lucky, bring back Lehlohonolo Majoro and maybe put Katlego Mphela on the bench. I am looking forward to the game.

I hope we have watched Mali's previous games as they are very fast and dangerous when they attack. Bafana is now oozing confidence and should win against Mali and will once again need our unequivocal support.
