Unhappy artists want council to tune in

UITENHAGE artists have accusing the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality of neglecting them – so they are now fighting to give all artists in the town and surrounding areas an opportunity to grow and earn a living.

The Uitenhage Arts and Culture Organisation met at the Uitenhage Town Hall yesterday to discuss their action plan.

The organisation was set up last November and is an umbrella body for members of Arts for Change, the Uitenhage Arts and Culture Commission, and the Association for Arts and Culture.
