Cycle Tour a huge success

THOUSANDS of spectators lined the streets to cheer on the competitors in The Herald VW Cycle Tour in Nelson Mandela Bay at the weekend.

The 28th annual event attracted thousands of entries.

Some cyclists had to be treated for minor injuries after yesterday’s 106km Classic road race, while some received massages at the physiotherapy tent.
