YOUTH radio station YFM announced yesterday that after five years on air, YFM twins Hlelo and Ntando Masina would be leaving the station at the end of next month.
"Line-up changes are common practice in the radio industry, particularly at a youth station like YFM.
"After careful consideration of all aspects of our on-air offering, we have decided to make the necessary changes to the station's programming," said programming manager Tumelo Diaho Monaheng.
"As much as we are totally committed to the development of young talent like the twins, we are also continually looking for new ways to enhance our station, with new and exciting personalities.
"With growth and evolution being critical in the ever-changing radio market, the brand changes each year ," Diaho Monaheng said.
Hlelo and Ntando said: "We have had an amazing journey at YFM, which has taken our brand to another level over the past few years.
"The station has given us good opportunities. We have quite a few new and exciting ventures lined up for the year and we are about to embark on that journey."
Details of the new YFM line-up will be released on April 1.
