Dagga 'cocktail' - often with Rattex - used to hook teens

DEVIOUS drug dealers are using a dagga cocktail to hook unsuspecting school pupils and university students throughout the Eastern Cape on hard-core drugs.

And while their target group is 17- to 25-year-olds who are in their "experimental phase", they are also tricking younger pupils with drug-laced suckers.

The dagga is soaked in a mixture of liquefied cocaine and tik.

Mixed into that quite often is Rattex – and even HDH.

Yesterday, a 19-year-old Port Elizabeth man who openly admitted to smoking dagga, was shocked when tests revealed traces of cocaine and tik in his system.
