THE first round of the Barclay's men's pairs will be played at Walmer Country Club on February 16 (8.30am). If you wish to enter a team, contact Bruce (082-979-6844).



THE winners of the King Cars Thursday morning men's pairs competition played on January 31 at Western Suburbs were Doug Stupart and George Chamberlain.



THE programme at Summerwood this week is:

Tomorrow: mixed social (8.45); Saturday: men's and women's leagues and mixed social (1.45); Sunday: men's and women's leagues (times to be arranged); Monday: men's competitions and social (1.45); Tuesday: women's social (1.45).

The first round of the Summerbreezz Spar drawn pairs will be played on February 18.



RAIN interrupted the finals finals of the EP Mixed Pairs at the weekend. Section A winners Heinz Fischer and Dianne Ahrens will play Section B winners Hilton and Jenny Cherry, all of The Woods, at a date to be arranged.

The third place was shared by Johan Neethling and Hilary Bannister (Jeffreys Bay), and Nap and Karla Erasmus (Jansenville).



THE players and their coaches to represent NABB at the SA Disability Bowls in Bloemfontein from April 21-27 are: Glen Emslie, Carol Law, Gwen Nell, Geoff Newcombe, Ziphilele Nonimbe, Yvonne Mackenzie, Richard Corduroy and Ignatius Corduroy.



THE draw for the first round of the PEBC-NedBank Pairs to be played on Saturday is:

THERE is Wednesday morning mixed bowls at Park Drive, tabs in 9am. Visitors welcome. Other Park Drive playing sessions are: Tuesday 2pm, Saturday 2pm, Sunday 9.15am and public holidays 9am.



THE PEBC events this week are:

Tomorrow: Coq au Vin mixed bowls, tabs in 1.45pm.

Friday: Bob Mott's Friday morning men's drawn pairs, tabs in 8.55 am.

Saturday: PEBC Nedbank pairs in the morning; afternoon: league bowls continues; tabs in bowls at 1.45pm; 6pm weekly draw.

Sunday: League bowls in the morning; arranged games, Tim's untouchables and Steve's kokolollies.

Tuesday: Grasshoppers men's arranged games in morning; social in the afternoon.



WESTVIEW have tabs-in bowls for men (casual wear) and women on Wednesdays (9am). Other playing sessions are Saturday, tabs-in 1.45, and Sundays (9am).

UITENHAGE will again be hosting the popular Algoa Toyota Saturday Morning Pairs this year.

All registered bowlers are invited to enter teams as soon as possible as entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis The entry fee is R400 a team and matches will be played on March 9 and 16, April 20, May 18, June 22, July 6, August 3, September 28.

WALMER BC have women's and men's bowls on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday afternoons, and Sunday mornings. There is men's pairs at 1.30pm on Wednesdays and twilight bowls at 5pm on Friday.
