Muirite Striders set to host annual races in Despatch

THE first 200 entrants in both the Kromberg and Schubert 15km road race and 5km fun run on Saturday will receive sponsored T-shirts.

The race, organised by Muirite Striders, starts and ends at the Frans Conradie Primary School in Despatch. Pre-entries at Brian Bands, Sportsman's Warehouse and Brocket Sports (Uitenhage) close at 4pm today. Late entries will be accepted at Frans Conradie between 5pm and 7pm on Friday and from 4.30am on Saturday.

The entry fee is R35 for the 15km race and R20 for the fun run. The 15km race starts at 6.30am and the fun run at 7am. – Mogan Segadavan
