Injuries delay naming of Kings squad

THE Southern Kings have delayed the announcement of their rugby squad to face the Lions this weekend due to a number of minor injury concerns.

The Kings play the Lions in Johannesburg on Saturday in a friendly being billed as the SA Franchise Challenge.

Kings director of rugby Alan Solomons was expected to name his squad today, but will only make a call later this week when the injuries to numerous players have been evaluated by his medical staff.
