I AM a resident of Rowallan Park and paying huge rates to our municipality, but services are very poor. The streets here are very dirty. There are trees hardly ever trimmed by the municipality, but if you chop them down they charge you.
Just have a look at Cape Road starting from Kabega – is very dirty as if it's not a main road.
I work in Walmer and every day I pass people sweeping the streets. They are spotlessly clean. One day I asked those sweepers who was responsible for our area. They said I must go to Brister House because they were instructed where they must clean.
The municipality also needs to clean around Rowallan Park Primary.
