Keep up pressure on Bhisho authorities

MANY thanks for a very good summary of the crisis in education in The Herald Editor's View article, "Education rot must stop" (February 4). This truly is a crisis.

Our fee-paying school (in Graaff-Reinet) has only three of its eight declared posts filled. Surely, education begins with properly qualified and motivated teachers in the classrooms.

The rest are lesser add-ons, not critical components as they purport to be.

Please keep up the pressure on this disgustingly inefficient department.

We owe it to our future generations.
