Was Faku not suspended on full pay for three or four years pending the outcome of the inquiry? This then resulted in him getting a promotion to another position of higher authority to widen his tenderpreneur possibilities. How we love the ANC and how they look after their cadres. Shame old Julius must have not paid his bribes to the ANC head honchos because he got thrown out. Oh well lets us take this tiny glimmer of hope Mamaphele Ramphele is offering and maybe it will fan into a small flame that may ignite into a war for peace and no corruption. Unless of course she gets offered a big enough bribe and shuts up.

Report Abuse Author: alvonhumb Date: 07 February 2013 10:36Prof Rhampele these are excellent ideas. Our problem though is that the ANC has gone beyond the point where any chance of a return of power to citizens is gone, other than by revolution. Take the Zuma tapes for example. The courts have repeatedly found in favour of their release and Zuma himself and the NPA simply ignore this. You or I would be sitting in jail until we obeyed the Court - Zuma knows he is untouchable. It starts small - we have our own example in the Bay where we have now been waiting years for Faku to be properly investigated under the Kabuso findings. Jump up and down as much as we like, the citizens will not see anything happen. Instead Faku has been moved upwards into a position of power in the Province.
