After losing the toss and being asked to field in the final match of the series, the Warriors, at that stage still in with a remote chance of sneaking the title, restricted the Lions to 157.

In reply, the Warriors lost three wickets for 64 runs, but were still reasonably placed to push on for a first innings lead today with Ashwell Prince (10) and Colin Ingram (2) at the crease.
