ANC leader Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma’s report on the nomination of ANC candidates for the 2011 municipal elections has cleared all but one branch in Nelson Mandela Bay of manipulation and fraud allegations.
The report, which The Herald has seen, was discussed by the ANC’s regional leaders yesterday.
While it is only Uitenhage’s ward 42 branch that would have to hold fresh nominations, Dlamini-Zuma’s investigation has revealed leadership chaos and disunity in 14 ward branches in the metro.
