Call for longer office hours

13 February 2013

THE DA wants the Korsten traffic department office to stay open till 4pm.

The office normally shuts its door at 2pm.

DA safety and security spokesman Marshall von Buchenroder said the shorter working hours did not allow enough transactions to be pushed through. The earlier closing time was introduced in September due to staff shortages.

The vacancies have since been filled. – Rochelle de Kock
