A SUPERB second-minute goal by Oupa "Ace” Manyisa was good enough to catapult defending champions Orlando Pirates to the top of the Absa Premier Soccer League log with a 1-0 win over SuperSport United at Orlando Stadium last night.
The goal saw Pirates depose perennial rivals Kaizer Chiefs at the top of the log. The Buccaneers have 37 points, leading second-placed Chiefs by only one point.
Manyisa found the net after a solo effort from just outside the centre in the second minute. The home side, minus their chief striker Benni McCarthy who sustained another injury at training on Tuesday, kept on exerting pressure in search of more goals.
