Susan Wells and Cawekazi Daca (penalty) scored for the students, who fell further back when they drew 0-0 with Golden Stars yesterday.
Mustangs scored another close win yesterday when they beat African Chiefs 3-2.
All in all, it was a disappointing weekend in the league with five matches called off for one reason or the other.

EASTERN Jumpers caused the shock of the season in the Nebfa Sedgars Premier League on Saturday when they beat logleaders Red City 2-0.
The defeat cost the former Safa-NMB SAB League outfit their place at the top of the log as they drop down to third place. Bush Bucks trail City on goal difference after beating Pondo Stars 2-0 yesterday.
This was Stars' second defeat of the weekend after they were beaten 4-1 by Winter Rose on Saturday.
