ON the eve of slain Nelson Mandela Bay beauty Reeva Steenkamp's funeral today, her grieving family hit out at the media frenzy around her death, asking them to back off and respect their privacy.
And yesterday it emerged that boxes of drugs seized from a bedside drawer in the home of her boyfriend, Oscar Pistorius, who is charged with her murder, are the subject of a barrage of laboratory tests. Blood and urine samples from the Blade Runner the day he allegedly shot Steenkamp are also being tested.
