WE (a family of five) attended the Concert in the Park event on Sunday morning. We weren't sure what our young children would make of it, but my three-year-old son and four-year-old daughter loved every minute of it.
The orchestra conducted by Richard Cock and featuring vocalists Zwai Bala and Naz Holland did a great job. It was an amazing morning and I have to ask: why do we only do this once a year?
Surely there is a need for more regular events of this nature where the whole family can get involved?
If we just look at what the Capetonians do at Kirstenbosch almost every weekend, it must be possible to have a "Concert in the Park" every month? We'd like more!
