Pistorius to face pre-meditated murder chrage

The Olympic and Paralympic sprinter Oscar Pistorius will face a charge of pre-meditated murder, the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court ruled on Tuesday.

Magistrate Desmond Nair ruled that for the purposes of bail he will face a schedule six murder charge".

"At this point in time, I cannot rule out premeditation".

Pistorius has been charged with the Valentine’s Day shooting of his girlfriend‚ Reeva Steenkamp‚ a model and law graduate who was shot dead in a bathroom at his home in Pretoria last Thursday.
