Financial adviser up for fraud

AN ABSA bank financial adviser, who allegedly forged a document to secure a R3.7-million loan from Nedbank, appeared in court yesterday.

Petrus Uys made a brief appearance in the Port Elizabeth Commercial Crimes Court, where his trial was set for April 15.

He faces four charges of fraud and forgery.
