Pupils get tech boost

SAKHISIZWE Secondary School in Zwide, Port Elizabeth, will now be able to produce a generation of better-educated science pupils after it received a R40000 laboratory yesterday.

It is the first of 30 mobile science labs which are to be handed to schools across the province.

The handover marked the launch of the Eastern Cape leg of a multimillion- rand joint mobile science lab initiative between the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) and national government.

The national strategy is to deliver similar labs to more than 107 schools.
