St George's cricket teams' impressive performance

ST GEORGE'S College have enjoyed a good cricket season so far, registering several impressive victories in their schools league matches.

Playing against Victoria Park, St George's totalled 146, Richard Hurley top-scoring with an unbeaten 56. In reply, VP were dismissed for 118.

In their next clash, against Woodridge, St George's made an impressive 156 runs in their 20 overs, Brandon Gray leading the way with an unbeaten 58. Woodridge were then dismissed for 101 to give St George's victory by 55 runs.

This past weekend, St George's took on Brandwag third and won by eight wickets with two overs to spare.
