PEARSON scored a comfortable six-wicket win over Daniel Pienaar in their annual schools cricket clash in Uitenhage at the weekend.
Batting first, DP slumped to 44/8 as Brydon Carse, Mihlali May (2/16), Deyano Klaasen (1/23) and Kyle Jacobs (2/12) put the skids under the home batsmen.

Jacobs, 15, followed up his superb legspin bowling with a well-played 35 not out, opening the batting for the first time. He was well supported by Wade van Zyl as they put on 47 for the first wicket.
Carlo du Toit (2/16) was the pick of the DP bowlers as they fought hard to pick up four Pearson wickets.
