FRAMESBY kick off an exciting rugby season on Saturday when they play in the main curtain- raiser for the Super Rugby clash between the Sharks and the Stormers in Durban.
The Port Elizabeth school will play against Glenwood (kick-off 4.45pm). It will not only be an important match to get ready for the rest of the season, but will give Framesby and the players huge exposure.
The match in Durban will be one of the highlights of the year for Framesby, as they again come up against some of the top schools in the country.
"Yes, it is a tough programme with lots of travelling, but exciting. You must play against the best, that is how the players will learn," said Louis Gerber, who will coach the first team with Wynand Rauch.
Framesby will be in action in the tournament for top schools at Potchefstroom University and have been invited for the first time to the tournament at Kearsney College over the Easter weekend. Grey College and Westville Boys' High will be among the other top sides there.
At the beginning of May, Framesby will play in the Wildeklawer tournament, to be held this year in Maritzburg.
