27 February 2013

AFTER two days of intense cross-examination, the state ended off yesterday with one final question for alleged Port Elizabeth wife beater Frederick Gordon.

"Have you ever raised your hand to a man?" prosecuting advocate Andre Kirchner asked. "Because I think you should try and see what happens."

Gordon, 44, took the stand in the Port Elizabeth Regional Court for the third day yesterday, where he continued to deny any wrongdoing.

He has pleaded not guilty to charges of kidnapping, rape and attempted murder.

The trial continues on Friday.
