Reigniting a passion for school

28 February 2013

THE Methodist Church of Southern Africa Grahamstown District will hold an Education Indaba in an effort to get pupils excited about the classroom.

The indaba, which is open to everyone, will be held at Kwazakhele High School on Saturday.

District Bishop Musi Losaba said the indaba was a platform for ordinary citizens to get involved with finding solutions to the current education crisis.

"We want to encourage the involvement of parents in education. We need to go back to the days when parents and grandparents saw to it that their children were in proper uniform before sending them out to school, and that homework was done," he said.
