THREE senior staff members from the national Department of Cooperative Governance have been sent to Nelson Mandela Bay to assist new city manager Dr Lindiwe Msengana-Ndlela as she tackles the mammoth task of bolstering a crumbling administration.
She has vowed to restore the image of the city, saying even her detractors would be happy with her appointment because they would also benefit from good, quality municipal services.
Msengana-Ndlela, who was appointed by council more than two weeks ago, was formally introduced to her staff, various stakeholders and the media in Port Elizabeth yesterday.
