Nothing proved by single victory over Force, says Strauss

SOUTHERN Kings backline enforcer Andries Strauss says winning one game against the Western Force does not mean the rookie franchise have really achieved anything yet.

Speaking ahead of his team's big Super Rugby showdown against the Sharks on Saturday, vice-captain Strauss warned his men would need to improve further if they wanted to win more games.

"The reason for this is as a team we have set ourselves goals. We are motivated internally and not from outside forces, and winning one game does not mean you have achieved anything yet," Strauss said.

"You have to build on that performance and the onus is on us to improve if we want to win more games in this competition.
