Elderly man survives brutal attack at home

AN elderly man was stabbed several times inside his Stirling Road, Rowallan Park, home during the early hours of this morning in the latest house robbery in Nelson Mandela Bay.

According to police, details remain sketchy however they can confirm that a 71-year-old man was attacked inside his home at about 3am. The man is being treated in Greenacres Hospital.

A case of armed robbery and attempted murder is under investigation. - Gareth Wilson
