Tigers too good for Gelvan pitchers

08 March 2013
FOR the second week in a row, Tigers produced a shutout performance to defeat Gelvan A 14-0 in their league baseball fixture.

The game was tightly contested, with Mervin Johnson keeping Gelvan in the game with a solid pitching performance for the first four innings.

Lyle Ferreira was on the mound for Tigers and was well supported, while Hennie Stander closed out the remaining three innings.

Gelvan's relief pitchers were just not up to par on the day.
