SIXES and fours are set to take centre stage at the Walmer Spar and Tops Old Grey Cricket Club Six-a-Side at Freeplay Park on Sunday.
All the province's big-hitting club cricketers will be attempting to outdo each other in a traditional event which had proved popular over many years. A schoolboy team from Grey High has again been included in the main draw after their loss in the final to the hosts last season.
The Golden Oldies tournament will also be played again this year and will run concurrently with the main event, but on the neighbouring SA Police Service field, Kemsley Park.
So two fields will run at the same time from 8am through until 5pm when the main draw final will be played.
The club has also organised family entertainment for Sunday with Glen Webster playing the music.
