PROGRESS will be strongly favoured to continue their winning trend when they host Queenstown team Breakers in the Eastern Cape Super 12 club rugby quarterfinals tomorrow.
The Uitenhage outfit were the most impressive side in the league phase of the competition, winning all their matches to pick up 23 points and it is unlikely that the visitors will halt their progress tomorrow.
The final eight sides comprise five EP clubs and three from Border. The action will kick off today in East London when Buffalos and East London Police meet in an evening game, while Winter Rose will be looking to add another Border team to the last four when they take on Gardens in East London tomorrow.
Winter Rose were second to Progress in Section B and they produced some good results, so Gardens are in for a tough encounter.
In the remaining game, Harlequins are set to take on PE SAPS at the Adcock Stadium, although this match must still be confirmed by the competition organisers.
