THE in-form Chevrolet Warriors will take on the Titans in Benoni without star batsman Colin Ingram.
The left-handed Ingram has been called up to join the Proteas squad for their one-day series against Pakistan which starts on Thursday.
The Warriors made do without the injured Davy Jacobs and Rusty Theron in their victory over the Cobras in Port Elizabeth on Wednesday.
Allrounder Wayne Parnell, whose bowling has been impressive over the past few weeks, will captain the side in the absence of Ingram.
The victory over the Cobras has improved the Warriors' log standing to third at the halfway stage of the competition. Another win would stand them in good stead for the remaining four pool matches.
Border allrounder Lundi Mbane has been drafted into the squad in Ingram's place.
Samit Patel's arrival has been welcomed by the Warriors franchise and has strengthened the vulnerable top order. "His experience at No4 and his ability to close out games for us is a bonus," coach Piet Botha said.
Veteran Kiwi allrounder Scott Styris will make his debut for the Titans tonight, replacing Farhaan Behardien who has also linked up with the South Africa squad. The squads are:
Warriors: Samit Patel, Ashwell Prince, Christiaan Jonker, Jon-Jon Smuts, Wayne Parnell (capt), Simon Harmer, Adrian McLaren, Aya Gqamane, Andrew Birch, Athi Dyili, Kelly Smuts, Lundi Mbane, Craig Thyssen
Titans: Henry Davids (capt), Marchant de Lange, Heino Kuhn, Eden Links, Ethy Mbhalati, Albie Morkel, Mangaliso Mosehle, Jacques Rudolph, Scott Styris, Alfonso Thomas, Roelof van der Merwe, Martin van Jaarsveld, David Wiese
